The Cat's Out Of The Bag: Cats Actually Want Kisses And We Have A Heartwarming Video To Prove It

We're always making jokes here about cats denying affection, punishing their owners for attempting to give them love or for touching the offered, yet forbidden, belly. But we finally did it. We captured a video of an adorable black cat begging his owner for love while he washes the dishes. We're choosing the believe that the cat was not a paid actor (as if you could convince a cat to do anything he didn't want to do), and the look in his eyes when he rubs up against his owner really is the cherry on top. Nothing, and we're serious, nothing is more cute than cats showing their human affection.

This wholesome video made us tear up a little bit because it's something so simple and honest. It's one of those things that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and it will definitely make you want to go snuggle up with your own kitty cat. If he/she refuses, show them this video and let them face the facts. We're not sure if it will convince them, but offer for them to go to the vet if they resist. They'll have to snuggle then.

    Sir, sir, SIR! Stop doing washing these silly plates and pay attention to this chubby kitty now! He is in desperate need of attention!     Of course the cat would choose to be cute and cuddly at the most inconvenient time. There can only be so many surprises in one day, and this is already a big one. It would be too much if he were just laying on the couch and the cat sauntered over to him and desired love - no, it has to be in the middle of something when his hands are completely occupied and wet.

    Font - I read this book by a pet psychologist. He claimed that cats don't understand kisses. My cats do. I've met some that don't and I feel sorry for them...living with people who don't kiss them. But my cats understand kisses and will offer their head to me for them and then lean into the kiss when I do it.
